RACDS to establish NZ specialist training program

Several Academy member are making ongoing contributions to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) initiative to establish a specialist training program based within health services in New Zealand.

The project is led by Dr Erin Mahoney in her capacity as the Vice President of the RACDS, and is supported by a wide range of political, educational and service delivery stakeholders across New Zealand.

A curriculum development working party has now been established, which has several AAPD members contributing to it. RACDS has employed a full-time project officer to support the next stages of the project.
