Newest members of the AAPD – Spring 2024 edition

We’re always happy to welcome new members to our AAPD community - especially when they’re as cute and smiley as these little next-gen additions from our current members!

Dr Jacqui Fechney (QLD)

Darcy was born in September 2023. So far he loves swimming, rolling and putting everything in his mouth, and he is enamoured with his two-year-old brother Huxley and groodle, Frankie. He is very loved and has been on some great holidays in his four months!

Dr Abbey Corbett (NZ)

We welcomed Harriet Grace into our family on the 19th of January. She is a happy baby, reserving her biggest smiles for her doting big sister Natalie. Harriet has just learned to roll over and thinks she’s very clever!

Dr Caitlin Agnew (NZ)

Our 3rd boy, Toby joined us on Waitangi Day this year. He’s already experienced his fair share of noise, chaos and battle wounds from his older brothers! We absolutely love having him as part of our family.

Dr Chaturi Neboda (QLD)

Eloise was born on the 8th of October, weighing 4.45kg on the NHS hospital scales. She hated the long flight to Australia, but much prefers being outdoors in the sunny Gold Coast to the dreary winter of the UK! She loves crawling behind her big sister, Aurelia and her dog, Caesar.

Dr Jane Lee (VIC)

Noah arrived in a hurry, feet first and ready to run into the world last November. He is a joyous addition to our family, an adored baby brother and our hearts (and car) are full!

Dr Alice Howarth (SA)

Edie Olivia Badman was born on 26th of March, weighing 2.5kg. She is an avid feeder and steadily growing. She enjoys tummy time, wants to get active like her parents and is determined to develop a non-nutrient sucking habit much to her mother’s dismay!

Dr Delia Chin (VIC)

Chloé at almost five months old has such a sweet and cheeky personality. She is an avid observer of the world and is an excellent communicator of her preferences – which is being held upright and facing outwards all day long! She’ll soon be travelling to France to meet more of her family, so if you have any long-haul travel tips, please send them our way!

Dr Katie Bach (NZ)

Georgia (Gigi) is four months old. She’s a very chill but VERY chatty young lady. She loves her big sister, her dog and her chewy mushroom. Gigi has been busy helping out as a dental assistant already, letting anxious patients have a cuddle once they have made it through their exam!

Dr Deborah Wong (VIC)

The last 19 months have slipped by and in the blink of an eye, our 2.9kg active baby is now a strong-minded toddler. She declares her favourite foods are ‘cashews’, she has bitten into several chocolate bars, wrappers and all, from mamma’s work bag (clearly a sweet tooth), and she likes to put her shoes on and go to the ‘beach’ or ‘city’!

We love our little R and in part disbelief, part awe, we look at each other, shake our heads and realise that life will never be the same again. This extroverted, happy, impatient, low-sleep-needs child who bears a shocking resemblance to both of us – is pure joy. And I finally understand that family is everything.
